The Peninsula Room is a historic wedding and event venue on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City. Mission Table & Event Dining
The Peninsula Room is also home to Mission Table, the original 1880 house of the Stickney estate, with views of West Grand Traverse Bay. The Harbor Room holds up to 60 guests, while the Bay Room and Library hold up to 30 each. These spaces offer a distinct setting for meetings and private events, with historic character and scenic views. Mission Table offers a unique option for meetings and events.
A Historic Setting With Scenic Views
The Peninsula Room combines a historic setting with a large lawn, perennial gardens, stone patio, pergola, indoor fireplace, and outdoor fire pit. Event support includes two 55-inch Bluetooth screens, sound systems, microphones, tables, Chiavari chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware, with dedicated staff to support your event planning.

We recently got married here in October on a Sunday, it was a fantastic experience! The day was windy, dry, and raining leaves. The venue was beautiful, with warm touches in each corner. The staff was accommodating and kind. We decided to omit a wedding planner entirely, although Barb and Madi were incredibly helpful with ensuring we were on the same page with every detail. They worked well with each of our vendors and guests. Also, the food was impeccable! We would highly recommend this venue. - Daniel & Bailey
Beautiful setting. The venue is being used as additional seating for the Spicy Pumpkin pub. Beautiful trees and gardens surround a large open venue with a cobblestone patio and mature pergola to shade. A great lakeside setting.
We came here last night for my friend’s wedding and this place is gorgeous!! The view of the water and landscaping makes for perfect picture ops. The food was also amazing and the service we received was super professional and kind. We had a great time here.
